VolcanoBox Ver 1.6.1

Update MTK Android Imei change
as you guys know now in these days mtk android phones comings with 4.0.4 ver. after imei repair software says imei repaired but in phone still old imei. for that we make some thing for it and it's under BETA. for these type of phones you can use "Android Beta" in "mtk" tab which you can see after imei option enable with ALT+CTRL+i !! method is same just you have to ROOT your phone. as Root done you can repair imei from "Android Beta". we are waiting for your test reports... if some one can send us such phone which have mtk chip with 4.0.4 firmware inside and imei can't repair please send me PM.

Обновлено восстановление IMEI на MTK Android

Как Вам известно сейчас телефоны MTK Android поставляются с
версией Android 4.0.4.
После восстановления imei программа рапортует о успешном восстановлении но IMEI остается прежним.
Мы сделали некоторые доработки но они в стадии BETA.
Для таких телефонов Вы можете использовать "Android Beta" в "mtk"
закладке которая появится после включения опции IMEI с помощью комбинации клавиш ALT+CTRL+i !!
Метод такой-же, сделайте ROOT Вашему телефону.
Если Root сделан можно восстанавливать imei с "Android Beta". Ждем Ваших тест репортов...
Если кто-нибудь может отправить нам такие телефоны с MTK
процессором и версией Android 4.0.4 с imei который
не восстанавливается отправьте мне ЛС.

what does it's means ?

it's mean now you can use your Volcanobox as any UART Cable or any Ignition cable for Samsung , LG etc. Cables which use Resistance to short any pin to GND. let me give you example. Samsung C3303K Uart cable. this cable have 1- VCC, 2- RX, 3- TX, 4 short with 510K Resistor with pin number 5, 5- GND. as you see this cable Short 2 pins each other. this cable Short pin 5 and pin 4 with 510 K resistance,

as you can see in Fig. 01 schismatics of Samsung C3303K cable it's shot 2 pins with 510K resistor like this any cable of any BRAND which use resistance between any two pins like short GND with pin number 4 with 100K resistance or Short VCC with pin number 3 with 560K or any thing like this you can use your Volcanobox.... and No need to buy many cables....

How can i use this ?

Connect your desire phone to volcanobox
Make sure you connect your phone with correct way
Open volcanobox
Go to Detect tab
Drag and Drop your desire pinout funtion to Desire pins
for example you want to set Samsung C3303K cable for this you have to set like this
Drag and Drop Vcc to pin number 1
Drag and Drop Rx to pin number 2
Drag and Drop Tx to pin number 3
Drag and Drop REA to pin number 4
Drag and Drop GND to pin number 5
Drag and Drop REB to pin number 5
Set Resistance Value 510K
Click on set pinout

We had revised SPD imei repair. so you guys please test it and let us know the results.
here is how to do
How can i repair Imei of any SPD phones include SPD Android Phones ?

1. open VolcanoBox
2. Go to Detect Tab
3. Select SPD from list
4. Attach phone
5. Click on detect button
6. detect spd Pinout
7. after detection. click on Clear Pinouts
8. after set manual pinouts GND & USBD+ & USBD- ( where it's detected before )
9. click button set pinout.
10. Go to Spd Tab
11. untick auto-detect pinout
12. R/W imei chooses COM
13. Press these keys from your keyboard to enable Imei repair Function ALT + CTRL + i
14. Click on Write Imei
15. click RUN
16. New windows will be open
17. choose USB port
18. disconnect phone from cable & remove the red Clip ( Red Clip from power which is coming from box )
19. Write imei number in Boxes
20. Click on write imei
21. Connect cable and connect the red clip to phone ( Red Clip from power which is coming from box )

You have to make sure you are doing 100% same. incase of failed you have to try again and again and make sure your Drivers are correctly installed !!

Set pinout.
go to Coolsand Rda tab
Click on Usb mode
Untick Auto Pinfind
Select your desire operation
click on run
when mobile power on & it's say Usb mass memory
Press & Hold "0" button from mobile key pad
Install Drivers
from ( C:\Program Files\Volcano Team\VolcanoBox\Drivers\Phone Drivers\Coolsand USB )

What is MTK andriod Read Infor added system files(file address and length) and Based on MTK andriod read info ?

This is for Experts only !! if you don't know what are you doing then Don't try this @<available in full version of forum> home or office or @<available in full version of forum> school

whenever you got any Chinese mobiles MTK Android, you may need to know it's emmc areas. you can simply click on read info, select read info, select Usb mode, Click on run, when Volcano says Analize for usb, Insert usb cable into phone ( keep in mind some phones need to press & hold any button to put phone into preloader mode & some need to insert usb cable without battery & when software start downloading boot then insert battery), it will 1st read mobile Flash area after that volcano will read it's Emmc area which is same like in OG Tools, there you can see all their Emms parts, Specially Boot, Recovery etc, you will get complete info include Length & Size. also if you use little mind you will also no need to find scatters files so let me show you some examples how you can do it...

Описание:

Улучшено чтение флеш Coolsand/Rda. Настоятельно рекомендуется считать флеш снова с рабочего телефона через Boot_B и Boot_Auto. Сохранить файлы с соответствующими именами например X202 Boot Auto.bin и X202Boot B.bin. Так у Вас будет меньше шансов получить поврежденный флеш файл..
Для 8853c Вы должны считать флеш через Boot Auto и записать его назад через Boot_B. В следующих обновлениях мы сделаем это автоматичесски без переключения типа загрузчика.
У Вас возникали проблемы со следующим:
8853A
CPU ID: 880A 7002(CT8853B)
Flash ID : 002CCB16
Flash Type: SF_N25W32
Flash Len :0x400000(4M)

и

8853C
CPU ID: 880A 7002(CT8853B)

Мы их устранили и протестировали, теперь все работает.

Если Вы прошили телефон и он не включается, тогда нужно вычитать флеш из рабочего телефона и залить в нерабочий и все будет ок. Если у Вас нет идентичного рабочего телефона пробуйте из аналогичных.

Кое-кто заявляет что скорость чтения/записи coolsand слишком мала. Пожалуйста выберите скорость 1843200 и Вы увидите разницу.

Если по каким либо причинам чтение фуллфлеша неуспешно через boot b тогда выберите boot auto и прочтите через него фуллфлеш.

MTK добавлена функция изменения Root
это значит что Вы можете изменить Su Root на Shell Root. Раньше все Chinese box делали Su Root и если по какой-либо причине пользователю нужно было сделать что-либо еще он не мог, а теперь Вы можете изменить Su Root на Shell Root. С помощью этого Вы можете делать много других вещей, а так же можете видеть много скрытых файлов которые видно только в Su root.

How to flash firmware?

1. Download from support firmware package. ( will upload soon ) or ( read flash file from phone )
2. Click open scat file and select scat from firmware directory.
3. Open firmware setting and check if selected all files.
4. Reinsert battery, click write flash and insert usb cable.
5. Wait untill ready.
6. Reinsert battery and start phone (recommended first start without
sim card).

How to wipe phone ?

1.Press reset phone(user stuff will gone).
On alcatel emmc phones this also reset code counter.

Alcatel android have damaged imei, how to solve?

1.Usually flashing help in this case.
Alcatel phones have imei in otp and if NVRAM become corupted, it
will be
autogenerated
after flash.
2.If this not help, posible your phone have hardware damage(modem
part).

How to format phone? (advanced only) ?

1. Click boot info.
2. From displayed partitions choose needed partition start and
length.
3. Click Format phone and insert values(hex or dec).
4. Click format.

P.S.
Don t format preloader, if preloader is formated, will need to make
tp to get phone alive.

How to read flash ?

1. Click boot info
2. Select needed partition start and length
3. Press read flash and fill ad*******.
4. Press read.

How to dump phone.?

1.Only EMMC phones supported for dumping.
2.To make memory backup press dump phone button.
Userdata have very big size, please consider this when start dump
phone.
2.Nand phones not supported for dumping.

How to unlock phone? (Read Codes)

1. Select model from list.
2. Click Read Codes

P.S.
For this operation need special(CDC) driver to be installed
manaully.
Download driver from support and install if PC ask for this driver.

P.S.
Please note, do not play with preloader.
Phone can be maked alive from any state if preloader not touched.

Known problems:

1. Phone stuck on logo or restart on boot screen = Reflash phone.
2. Phone work ok but no network.
2. 1 Check IMEI.
2. 2 Check different firmwares, possible not math gsm module with
firmware.
2. 3 Corupted modem file, flash phone.
3. Phone work ok, but no imei.
3. 1 Flash phone, possible need to check different firmwares.
If modem file is for different hardware revision result will be no
IMEI also.

Hello guys,

Today i am very happy to announce VolcanoBox 2.7.1 New EASYGUI AS PROMISED .
This new GUI we make very User Friendly. we have improved alot but still many things needed so we will not release it for All but yes for selected users we released for BETA TESTING !!
I need Beta Testing Users which they must test and post bugs about it. what you have to do is write your serial number with your name and city and your gsmhosting id. if posters ( who will post their serial number ) and they do not POST REPORTS WE WILL BAN THEIR SERIAL NUMBERS FOR ONE MONTH !! SPD Android READ New Method Beta
SPD Android WRITE New Method Beta

We have discover some thing very interested & we believe it's more powerful than any other box Read/Write ( keep in mind this is not Factory File *.PAC this is Normal Read & Write method ) So i want you guys please test this update..what you want to do is simple read and write from android tool. do not use normal spd tab for this method. you have to use Android Tool then select on SPD and do your work. i am really looking forward for your reports. for this method you don't need to supported test by read info and analize data simply click on read or write and do your work. make sure OLD readed files are not supported for this. you have to read again from working phones and test on faulty phones. This will Support Dozen of Unsupported phones but still may have some phones which could be not supported !!

Caution: as this is beta so try at your own risk !!
Caution 2: this update will not work on any system which installed any SpyTool or Port Monitoring tool. So if you have installed any please remove it completely and restart system
Caution 3: Read & Write Speed is slow for now as we gets reports from you we will increase it

As you guys knows that VolcanoTeam is very good in MTK. in Starting of Inferno many other team blames us that we copy them bla bla such as Infinity Team's Coder always Bark very sweet Words against us but you guys can see that we have lot of very Exclusive things which even Infinity team don't have as well as Miracle Team don't have. if you are not sure what i am talking about please check our THIS THREAD & You will Realize that we are Far Ahead in MTK... Our Virus Cleaner is much better than Miracle box and as well better than Infinity Box too. Infinity Team not support NAND but for us is just peace of cake. latest invention by our Inferno MTK team was MTK6580 NAND which Infinity Even can't boot. so it's time to Realize that in MTK we are much better than Infinity Team.
