Hi papsi, I tested yesterday many versions of flashtool program included the latest one v3.1032.00 but the problem, I have only one firmware file '.bin' 66mb and with flashtool I cannot update because it ask for the scatter file for the firmware 'scat.txt'


Before flashing I had version :
xs3506b-gemini-wifi-compass-NAND98W3M0AZBB5-TH-20100424-V0.16

But I have two cellphones with the same version, one is working and the other with white screen, so I extracted the fullflash from the working device and I flashed the other with it but still the screen white. That's why I dont understand the problem

Hi. I have the some model of cellphone, like you. And i have no problem with flashing with FlashTool v3.912. But very important you need to choise in flashtollsettings the NFB method befor flashing. And more important- FlashTool is working with MasterFull flash ONLY. It is meens- Masterfull content usully 5 files. Bootloader, rom, secondary rom, thirty rom and scatter file. For download masterfull in flashtool you need to press download scatter file

То что ему нужен мастерфулл и так понятно было, а он походу залил просто фулл. Я ж ему еще в первом ответе написал "нужен мастерфулл"

Thanks for your reply. I did all what u say and I flashed the phone with your firmware but nothing, the screen still white. Look here :

I think the sciphone arrivecome with faulty screen or a problem of the flex.
I dont think is a good idea to change the lcd because I dont want to spend more bucks for this.

Hi brandonlee. I vorgot to say, that you need to do format first befor flashing. You need to make it in manually mode
. Also hier in manually mode you need to set start address 0x00000000 and length 0x04000000 and need to activate the VALIDATION mode(if you have some bad blocks, it will be skip). After that you can try to flashing again. But it will be nice, if u make any screenshots from flashtollsettings and startpage flashtool after downloading scatter file in program. Good luck:icq23:

Карточку переформатировал на РС - та же ситуация, в телефоне функции формат так и не нашел, если стоит карточка в управлениях фалами видна только она, на внутреннюю память телефона попасть не могу - негде выбрать. Помогите все-таки разобраться, как заставить javу устанавливаться на карточку, а не в телефон!

Если делал, тогда нужно попробывать форматнуть телефон, может поможет.

Единственное, что есть - выбор памяти, но это для зранения адресной книги в телефоне или на симках. Нигде связанного с карточкой не нашел

Сброс делал - ничего не дало, форматнуть телефон это перезалить прошивку или форматнуть внутреннюю память телефона?

Попробуйте сначала всё-таки посоздавать папки типа Java games, Games и т. д. и устанавливать приложение. Войдите в factory mode-memory card и посмотрите что там напишет тело.

Thanks for your help. the phone still white screen and no way to fix it with flashing. Maybe come with a defective screen.

One question: Why your firmware is only 32mb but when I make a backup of my cellphone is 66mb?

Hi brandonlee. First what i see , that you dont domnload the AUTHentication file in flashtoolsettings. It is nessesary to do it. press this button and choise the MTK Allinone DA. bin file. This file is in the some folder with flashtool.
Next look at you images. FORMAT-look at end address. You need to set start 0x00000000 end length 0x04000000.. i thing you format was very quickly,because of wrong end address. it must be about 4-5 min.
About 36Mb. Masterfull content only firmware, with out file system and any changes(accounts, sms settings, mms settings and others). You have fullflash file (you read it from phone), it is 66Mb, but here is file system and all changes. Normally get masterfull from fullflash, but it is nessesary to have programm, which can do it.

So
You need to do correctly FORMAT
After that try again to flashing masterfull

yes, I did all the steps you told me included the start and lenght adrress selecting manual format and the validation mode.
Now I'm in my job but later when I go to my home, I will try again and show you some screenshots.

Do you write down bekap or masterfull in a telephone????? It is needed to write down masterfull, if write down the bekap, then telephone will not work. And no actions with a telephone, not able to recover him, only record of masterful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Папки создавал - и Java и @Java скрытую, ничего не дало. В инженерке у меня нету пункта хоть одаленно напоминающего "memory card", вообще ничего с этим связанного

Имелось ввиду не инженерка , а FACTORY MODE #*36#*. Что-то типа этого, код зависит от модели тела
