Как сохранить сертификаты SHSH для текущей прошивки

1. Подключите своё устройство к компьютеру и запустите программу iFaith.



2. Нажмите на кнопку "Dump SHSH Blobs", как показано на скриншоте ниже.



3. Нажмите кнопку "Proceed", а затем "Let’s Go!".






4. Теперь программа попросит вас ввести своё устройство в режим DFU.



Чтобы это сделать, следуйте инструкциям на экране:

*Выключите своё устройство и нажмите "Start".
* Удерживайте кнопки "Power" и "Home" в течении 10 секунд.
* Отпустите кнопку "Power", но продолжайте удерживать нажатой "Home" ещё 10 секунд.




После этого ваше устройство должно перейти в режим DFU, iFaith автоматически начнет процесс сохранения SHSH. Это может занять некоторое время.




5. Как только процесс завершится, iFaith предложит вам сохранить сертификаты SHSH на локальном диске. В дополнение к этому, iFaith также автоматически сохраняет копию этих файлов на своем сервере.



Вот и все! Сертификаты SHSH для вашего устройства были сохранены и жизнь джейлбрейкеров стала немного лучше!

iFaith в отличии от tinyumbrella сохраняет shsh из DFU mode - иногда в этом есть необходимость. Соответственно, в случае зависшего аппарата избавляет от дополнительного использования утилиты usbview для считывания ECID.

Mac Version?!:
I'm working with @Djayb6 on getting iFaith fully ported to Mac OS. I can't provide an ETA as to when it will be available, but keep an eye out for it!

A5(X)/A6(X) Support?!:
Devices equipped with the A5(X)/A6(X) processor do not currently have any known low level iBoot or DFU exploits to jump start the iFaith payload to initialize the dump and restore. Therefore, support to dump blobs for devices running these processors are not possible at this moment in time. (You can still fetch the latest blobs directly from apple though by clicking the "Show Available SHSH blobs on Server" button.)

A5(X)/A6(X) Downgrade?!:
As far as downgrading on A5(X)/A6(X) devices goes... There currently is no publicly known loophole to kick-start a downgrade. So at the moment there is NO public way of downgrading an A5(X)/A6(X) device. For A5(X) devices that have 4.x.x SHSH blobs cached or still running 5.x.x, redsn0w can recycle the first apticket loophole and *re-restore* your device as long as you have the essential SHSH blobs. First off, I know how long I've been delaying this release. I originally promised to release this around Summer. Summer turned to JailbreakCon weekend. Followed by more future weekends. Well I'm finally happy to release this damn thing.

1.5.6: After Cydia's mishap with aptickets from 6.0 --> 6.1.2 (causing soft-dfu loops), iFaith now includes an apticket validation. Не так давно молодой хакер iH8sn0w наконец раскрыл содержание своего "секретного проекта". Им оказалась программа iFaith - новый инструмент, с помощью которого любой пользователь устройства на iOS сможет понизить прошивку без сохранённых сертификатов SHSH!
Как мы знаем, начиная с iPhone 3GS компания Apple заблокировала возможность сделать откат прошивки на более раннюю. Намного позже её мы получили, благодаря Cydia, TinyUmbrella или iSHSHit, которые сохраняли эти сертификаты и в дальнейшем, при их наличии, мы могли понизить прошивку на своих устройствах. Но при этом были и ограничения. Например, если вы покупаете iPhone 4 с последней прошивкой, а для неё нет джейлбрейка, то вы не сможете восстановить его на более низкую прошивку, для которой джейлбрейк существует.
Вот тут-то и вступает в игру iFaith. Если вы купили какое-либо iOS устройство с новой прошивкой, которая пока не поддаётся взлому, то с помощью нового инструмента от iH8sn0w, вы сможете сохранить сертификаты SHSH для нужной вам версии прошивки, откатиться на неё и в дальнейшем сделать джейлбрейк. Более того, программа обладает возможностью подписи любой версии прошивки при помощи сохранённых SHSH!

Утилита будет полезна тем, кто все-таки обновил свой девайс до iOS 6.1.3 но был не в курсе, что для данной версии прошивки джейлбрейка нет, а откатиться на предыдущую прошивку уже нельзя если ваше устройство на чипах А5, А5X и выше.

Многие пользователи столкнулись с тем, что после попытки отката на 6.1.2 устройство уходило в режим Soft DFU, это происходило из-за неправильных хешей в Cydia. Те, кто сохранил хеши через Cydia, теперь лишены возможности исправить ситуацию, а вот те, кто пользовался утилитами Redsn0w или TinyUmbrella теперь имеют реальные шансы на успех.

Утилита iFaith дает возможность проверить хеш-файлы SHSH, которые у вас есть на предмет их целостности. Нужно отметить, что утилита доступна только для систем Windows, так что владельцам Mac придется воспользоваться Boot Camp и т.п. решениями.

iFaith is a Windows program that can get SHSHs on your device, rather than from Apple's servers. This lets you keep the device on whatever firmware it's currently on (e.g.- iOS 4.2.6).

iFaith can also build an IPSW that's already configured with your SHSHs, and will also upload your saved SHSH to a remote server for backup purposes.
